Glog has arrived
Posted by derefed on 2007-05-30 at 15:31:25

uj.glog, the latest UJ project, is here. Glog stands for "group log", and is something like a blog for a group of people. I won't go into details, mostly because I've spent the past 24 hours writing up nothing but details on the Glog site itself, so go on over and read up. Also, there's a good chance that new UJ news stories will be posted over there ... haven't quite decided on that for sure yet.

Hopefully, we have ourselves a new, better UJ.Net here. UJ2K7, anyone?

UJ.Net
Server migration
Posted by derefed on 2006-06-15 at 20:10:14

All right, so apparently PowWeb, our web host, is doing a mass-server migration to über-cool, betterer servers, and I've gone ahead and scheduled an attempt for this Saturday, 06-17, at midnight. So basically, if the site is down or whatever (it shouldn't be unless they run into problems), then that's why. I highly doubt that it will be, or if it is, that it'll be a problem for either of you.

Donation time! ... is now!

Well, I figured I'd make yet another last-minute, last-day-of-the-month post to round things out in the news archives, but I didn't really have anything to write about, seeing as everybody's interest in UJ.Net lately (including myself) has been... non-existant, to say the most. But then I thought, hey! What about that other thing that UJ.Net was good for: extortion? Guilting my comrades into handing over cash at the remote and distant promise of maybe, MAYBE someday having at least a shred -- nay, an animated GIF's worth of content ... sounds good to me.

So everyone, pay up as much as possible (or AMAP, as I never refer to it), for the bill this year is $93.24 as it is every year. Oh, and feel free to pay beyond that number as well. We need all the cash we can get, what with our multiple UJ.Net Money giveaways and whatnot....

UJ.Net
...Suckers!

Yeah, that's... that's not happening anytime soon. Probably scared the crap outta some of you people involved though, if only for a second or two.

But seriously, guys, let's start working on stuff so that we actually can make a post like that truthfully. I mean it did sound really awesome.

So yeah... mach schnell, and all that.

UJ.Net
It's finally here...
Posted by derefed on 2006-04-01 at 12:52:28

After probably three years of waiting, we've finally got a steady stream of content on the board for UJ.Net coming up within the next few months! Let's see what we've got:

Fireteam Tango - The wait is finally over on this one, after almost a year of writing, shooting and hiatus-ing, FTT is ready to go with a five-episode season. The episodes, running about 7-12 minutes each, will be released once every week on Saturday starting May 13th. Um, woot!

Crispy Rants - After a break of a few weeks, Crispy is back with even more ranting and raving. This time around, he's bitching about just about everything, and you won't want to miss it in his new 30-min long podcasts! This new "season" of sorts will see two new episodes every day! Crispy also tells us that he's got enough scripts written up for about forty-two episodes at the moment, and more are on the way!

Eldera - Anyone remember this one? About four years ago, Xhelix and I began a collaboration on a series of stories set in a medieval fantasy world that, at the time, were originally intended to become graphic novel segments on UJ.Net. Well, with the help of Chakat we've ressurected the project, and are prepared to deliver to UJ.Net twenty arced short stories in the new Eldera universe, which will cover a year story-wise. Again, a release schedule will be set, but look for them at the beginning of June of this year.

Looks like we've finally found our direction here at UJ.Net, and we're extremely happy to be bringing all this new content to the public at once. Hopefully now we can gain some popularity and attract an internet crowd!
